More than 100 people protested against a swingers’ club they dubbed a “doggers’ paradise”.
Councillors in Wigan, Lancashire, approved plans after hearing guests would be able to engage in sexual activity or watch others involved in such antics.

Swingers club where couples swap sexual partners, have complained for years about the venue, which offered guests the use of grope boxes, bondage equipment and a communal hot tub.

But loals are opposing the swingers’ club in Atherton, Wigan.
They claim they were never told about the plans for the former nightclub and restaurant premises.
The £500,000 private detached property, in Calmore, Hants, boasted two X-rated dungeons, a “love swing”, hot tub and five “playrooms”.
It was said to be popular on the swingers circuit for its £35-a-head “JCT2″ sex parties where punters were promised their “every fantasy can come true”.

They could also be photographed and filmed as “gimps, slaves and sissies” for “top porn sites” alongside transvestite porn stars. Specialist nights included parties for “Big Beautiful Women”.
Neighbours became fed-up having to direct randy partygoers to the property, sparking a string of complaints.
And now New Forest District Council chiefs have pulled the plug on the venue after ruling it was a commercial venture and not a “domestic dwelling” as registered.
Owner David Kay had appealed the original closure decision in February, pleading that the address was only being used for private swinger parties with friends.
But Government inspectors, who toured the site, disagreed and upheld the ruling.
Inspector Richard Perrins said: “The activities do not go hand-in-hand with the appellant’s assertions that the premises are only used for parties involving friends.
“It is apparent the club is well advertised, well used and has all the characteristics of a business.
“Any reasonable person viewing the website would be left in no doubt payment is required to gain access to the club and being invited by a ’friend’ is not a general requirement.” Swingers sex club- shut down.
